This is my first SimplyThick Company Meeting. What should I expect?

When we say “meeting”, we are referring to “meeting and mingling” less than we are referring to conference-style meetings.

One-half day will be dedicated to formal discussions. Other than that, all other events will be group meals and group excursions. Stay tuned for details!

Is this meeting mandatory?

No, but you are strongly encouraged to attend; this meeting offers an excellent opportunity for SimplyThickers to collaborate and socialize across departments and territories.  If you have reasons you cannot attend (prior commitments, health, family, etc.) we understand.   

Can I bring a +1?

The SimplyThick company meeting is an opportunity for SimplyThick company members to connect and collaborate with one another. Only those invited will be reimbursed for their travel expenses. In addition, all official SimplyThick meals and excursions are for company members only.

That being said - who you choose to have in your room is your business.

What is the appropriate attire for this trip?

Casual / Business Casual

We are a laid-back bunch, so no formal wear is required. We encourage you to embrace the Margaritaville beach style!

This is my first trip to Hollywood, Florida. What activities do you recommend?

What if I can only attend for a portion of the week?

If you have prior commitments for a portion of the week, we still encourage you to attend on the days that you are available. Please let Liz know when you can attend so that room reservations can be adjusted accordingly.
